I question why they pulled the goalie with the Dube line out there also. Bad bench decision.

Not really. There’s a reason on PPs and bump backs it goes to a guy like Gaudreau, Lindholm or maybe Backlund. Dube wouldn’t be top 7 on that list to trust to,do that solo, as was needed with the goalie pulled.

And when is the last time the Flames pulled a goalie without having zone possession? I can’t recall this year.

I'm blaming Vladar. I think there was a bad miscommunication, no way Sutter pulls the goalie at that moment.

The weird decision was playing the top line at 3 minutes, which then left them unavailable when the goalie was pulled. Send one of the middle lines to work possession and then send them out with the extra man.
