I didn't see Beau is Afraid or if it was any good. Not sure what to make of this. My first thought was No Country for Old Men, but darkly funny?

I guess Joaquin Phoenix is Ari Aster's muse now?

I still need to see Beau is Afraid. It hasn't been free on any of the streaming services I have yet. I think Paramount+ has it for free? That's one I'm refusing to pay for.

The first act in Beau is Afraid is one of the wildest acts i've ever seen. Overall i'd give it a 7/10

I may just have to bite the bullet and pay for the rental. The combo of Aster and Phoenix sounds like it has all sorts of potential to be mind blowingly bizarre and awesome at the same time.

The one thing I don't get about Reeves is why is he doing commercials for Rogers? He was paid an enormous amount of money for doing the Matrix movies, and he ended up giving away 10s of millions of that to crew members....then he needs to earn a few extra million doing cheesy adds for Rogers?

He had such a good customer service experience that he felt he needed to tell the world?

At least he's Canadian (although, I don't know how much time he actually spends up here), not like when they had John Krasinski doing ads for them last year.

Dude. Couldn't tell you.

He's given away tons of money, does he need more? I really dont have an answer.

I do agree that it is odd.

¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
