AMA - not sure, but we do have bcaa.
honestly, i think in the 20+ years we've been married we've needed a tow truck twice, maybe 3 times - so it's kind of not worth the cost of getting bcaa in the long run.

Trickle charger with battery repair function? It's like $60, which isn't the greatest of prices right now, but still probably worth a shot to attempt to repair (desulfate) and top up the batteries before plopping $400 on new ones?

Reply all is a curse in general, but in particular the reply all "Thanks" emails. Man does my inbox ever get cluttered up with emails of someone saying "Thanks" and nothing else to other people. And then it fills up the chains with those too if you need to reply with something actually pertinent later.
I don't even like receiving them when they're directed at me, my phone will buzz with a new email and I'm like "Oh something else for this project...?" Nope, another thanks email.

Or the group Teams chats -
"Anyone else having slowness issues today with X program?"
"No"
"No"
"Nope"
"Not so far"
"No"
"Fine for me"
"Nope"
"No"
all constantly popping up. Like after the first 3 "No" replies, nobody else needs to reply, obviously something just affecting the OP.
And then you'll get one straggler five mins later -
"No"

Probably more courtesy notification you have received and acknowledge an email.
More of a gear grinder is send an email into silent abyss, when very obviously replies are warranted. Like you're literally just ignored. It's like no, dip####s, a decision is needed here. Now it is your turn to speak. That's how communication works. We learnt this when we were 2.

If you have the right policies set up for Outlook, you can prevent Reply To All for e-mails that stay within your organization.
Or you can do what I used to do, which was create a macro linked to a button that would flip the bit inside the Outlook mail item and grey out the Reply to All and Forward button (or each button individually).

The phrase "out of pocket" gmg. It's pretentious and not any faster than saying what you actually mean. You are neither an NFL quarterback nor a billiard ball, you are never actually in a pocket.

The only time I hear “Out of Pocket” used is when referring for paying to something/expense
What is the instance it’s being used pretentiously ? I feel a TIL moment coming up

Has anyone noticed that Youtube's barrage of ads on every video has gotten much, much worse recently? It seems like the time you have to spend sitting through ads has tripled.
EDIT: Prompted me to update my adblock solution which basically solved the issue but... good lord. How do people put up with that otherwise.

If there is a way to get around ads when I'm watching youtube on my TV or phone, please let me know in this thread. Because it has gotten unbelievably bad.
Thank you.

Inflation. The YouTubers need more advertising revenue to keep up with inflation. There are a bunch of channels that I watch pretty regularly because they great content but are also ad free. Once I get away from those it can get ridiculous pretty quickly. The thing that makes no sense to me are the ads that are 2 or 3 minutes long. Who would actually watch that when you can skip after 5 seconds.

I've actually run into a few youtube ads that were 18 mins and 23 mins long.
Those might only be fed into the longer 1 hour videos or speeches and seminars, but you can skip them after a few seconds like usual. Ridiculous, who they hell would sit through a commercial that's almost 20 mins long?

This is going to be a total, ' yeah, no ####,' answer, but I really love YouTube Premium. No ads when watching videos, obviously, but YouTube Music is what my whole family uses to listen to music (similar to Spotify). It's the best $23/month I spend.
Just think when we were young...you'd buy at least a CD a month for anywhere between $12 - $20 in, like, 1999 dollars. Well, there are four of us on this plan and we'd each be buying a CD a month, so just for the music alone it's a bargain. I watch a lot more YouTube than regular TV, so the ad-free experience on that is a total bonus.

People who are putting on playlists and just leaving them, or maybe having it going while driving in the car. There are a couple of podcasts I listen to through youtube because it gets posted there a few days before going into the podcatchers.

YouTube has gotten REALLY heavy on the ads. I'd stop paying for it, but it's free. I tried YouTube Premium for a bit and it was pretty good, but I don't know if I want to spend $23 a month on it.
The challenge with YouTube ad-blocking is you can really only do it on a computer. YouTube's ads are served through the same CDNs that serve their videos, so a PiHole or Adblock DNS won't help you when watching YouTube through a native app on a TV, STB, or media player.
