The whole point is that nobody goes after the ant-vaxxers.
They take care of it themselves.

Is this not a direct comparison? We the intelligent ones are fine with the killing off of the less intelligent ones.
I will post no more on this and just feel sad for humanity when a number of you can justify this line of thinking.

I miss the days when the biggest scandal in the news was that Obama ordered his sandwich with Grey Poupon.

No one is talking about killing them, except anti-vaxers who can't do the bare minimum to participate in society to help protect those around them.

This isn't just a raw intelligence issue, though. Plenty of unintelligent people also got the vaccine. It's a special mix of stupidity, social apathy, ignorance, and psychosis that leads to this line of thought.
A great example can be seen when you look at people who outwardly were anti-vax but were revealed to have actually gotten the vaccine themselves. Those are the real #######s, and they don't have the stupidity but have outsized psychopathy driving that decision process.

Ok one last post on this. It is not about the virus, but about the celebration of the death of another. And I feel sorry for you who feel that way.

Just to be clear, in a hypothetical scenario where there's another pandemic with a vaccine available, it would not be we the intelligent ones who are "killing off" the antivaxxers. It would be the virus that is killing off the antivaxxers...the virus for which there is a vaccine that they themselves refused to take. In this hypothetical scenario, the intelligent ones have taken no direct action at all that has led to the death of antivaxxers. All they did was stand back and gave the conspiracy nutjobs exactly what they asked for: the freedumb to ignore public health & safety guidelines from medical experts.

It’s important to remember that the anti vax mentality caused significant amounts of additional people to get sick / die and led to longer lockdowns, more closed businesses and crammed hospitals.
Their selfishness was a huge burden on society. **** em.

This is pretty powerful. After DOJ instructed the acting US Attorney for SDNY to dismiss the case against NYC Mayor Eric Adams, she pushed back and asked for a meeting with Bove (Acting Deputy Attorney General) or she would resign. He accepted her resignation and she wrote this SCATHING letter to AG Bondi, it's worth the read.
https://static01.nyt.com/newsgraphic...1d435-full.pdf
But this footnote is astonishing.
Bove then referred the case to a DOJ team who also resigned, refusing to move to dismiss.

Farmers from flyover states voted overwhelmingly for Donald trump.
Quote:
Of the 444 counties classified as farm-dependent by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), most of which are located west of the Mississippi and east of the Rockies, Mr. Trump won all but 11 last November.
|
Many of these farmers are heavily subsidized by the US government.
Oops.
Quote:
Farmers who signed contracts with the USDA under programs funded by President Joe Biden’s 2022 clean energy law, the Inflation Reduction Act, are now calling on lawmakers to defend them. The law provided grants and loan guarantees for farmers to invest in renewable energy systems and plant crops that could withstand climate change. After Mr. Trump signed an executive order to rescind Biden-era initiatives, the USDA and other agencies were instructed to freeze funding in order to comply with new policies.
|
Gosh, what a terrible surprise to have your face eaten like that!
Quote:
Skylar Holden, a cattle farmer in Missouri, said he had invested in new fencing and a well on his farm after signing a $240,000 contract with the USDA to share costs, and had been told that he would have to wait on reimbursement. In a series of TikTok videos, he said he’d already spent more on materials for further improvements on his farm, including for water systems, and was counting on the promised federal funding. “I’ve already done a bunch of the work, already paid for the material and the labor, so I’m out all that cost,” he said.

It doesn't make the situation[any better, but a selection of Trump voters were asked:
" What do you wish you had known before voting for him?"
Quote:
"I wish I knew he would mess with the Department of Education. I have two kids with IEPs and one in college."
-Anonymous, 40, Georgia
"I wish I had known who Trump's cabinet picks would have been. He is nominating poorly qualified and morally compromised individuals. I'm especially concerned about RFK Jr. and his history of making millions by suing vaccine companies and presenting false conclusions on vaccines as facts. RFK and others being chosen for cabinet positions are good at convincing people (like Trump) of lies that are based on anecdotes and feelings. I still would not vote for Harris, but I regret that a better conservative candidate was not an option."
-Anonymous, 44, South Carolina
"I wouldn’t say that I regret voting for Trump again, but I wish he expanded on who his cabinet would be. I don’t like who’s currently being picked, and I don’t see them as fit or qualified as he is. I’m worried that this means government jobs are in danger, which would have been nice to know beforehand."
-Anonymous, 42, Tennessee
"The threat of tariffs has caused insurance companies to reverse their previous approval of drug therapies. Prior to the election, I was approved for a course of treatment with a very expensive drug. Fast forward three weeks after the election, I get a notice from my insurance company that they are no longer approving the drug. What happened in the meantime? The threat of tariffs, and guess where my drug is manufactured — China."
-Anonymous, N/A, United States
"I was really excited about voting for Trump because I wanted to free Palestine, but then, when he got elected, he picked a bunch of zionists for his cabinet, and now I think the news might have lied to me about Trump."
-Anonymous, 32, Pennsylvania
"I thought the pandemic had passed…what harm could he do now? I honestly was pro-Trump because I want some control on immigration. But he’s not even in office yet and about to throw the last nail in the coffin for public education. I fear public education will not survive."
-Anonymous, 37, Texas
"I voted for Donald Trump because he said there wouldn’t be a tax on overtime work. But now I’m hearing that there won’t be overtime work at all. He won’t clarify these possibilities of overtime going away, and I keep seeing jobs big in labor getting layoffs and bonuses being cut. He hasn’t come out and clarified these possibilities, but it would clear my mind and decision to vote for him if he did."
-Anonymous, 24, Arkansas
"I’ll be honest here: I voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 with no second thoughts, but this year is different. I think either candidate would bring in the big guns; I thought he outweighed hers. But I see now how mass deportations on Day 1 could be bad. I had no idea undocumented people paid taxes, and quite a bit of them. I bought into some misinformation, which is something everyone should admit to. But I want to believe that most of what he says has a thick layer of truth and maybe a slice of dramatics to get you to listen."
