I hope the Devils pick Fucale. That means no Zac attack for us at 22

NJ is the only team I see giving Fucale a chance in the top 10. Still would be suprised.

Does anyone know what time the draft will start and what time TSN's draft coverage will start too?
Something just came up that Sunday morning and I know it's held in New Jersey this year so hoping it's not too early our time so I won't miss any of it or be forced to PVR it and miss out on the Calgarypuck cheer and/or whine fest.

Where does everyone realistically see Barkov going at?
4th pretty much nailed on?

Was just looking at our prospect rankings, and the top player listed under RW currently is Akim Aliu.. Pretty abysmal.
Glaringly the weakest area of prospects right now, which leads me to believe that it's all but guaranteed that at least one of the 3 first round picks will be used on a right winger.
So who in the 20-30 range in terms of RWs would be a fit and a possibility? I think Feaster will make a point of addressing that position with one of the later first round picks and is likely part of the plan going in.

Thats where i see it. More than likely it is Nashville that takes him at #4, with an outside chance the flames trade up to grab him at #4.

4th is pretty much a lock. But it is a draft, you never know what happens or who a team is KooKoo for Coco Puffs over.

It better be escaping a meteor that came up.

Zykov, McCarron and Nichuskin are the only RWs listed in the top 30 on the ISS rankings.
Good chance one of them is a Flame?

The only thing that may change the top four would be Tampa Bay selecting Valeri Nichushkin, which would then leave Nashville the choice between Drouin and Barkov.

McCarron will likely be in range for our second picks. Nichushkin and Zykov are likely gone before 22.

Lazar, Zykov, Hartman (my guess as to who they pick, big and American.)
3rd round where I think they will pick one again: Nick Sorenson (my preference), Zack Nastasiuk, Nick Baptiste, Justin Bailey if any are there.

I'd like Baptiste in the 3rd because of his name and because he plays for my hometown team.

All I know is we need depth and some actual potential NHL talent on RW badly. Too long we overlooked that position while #12 was manning it on the top line. Was definitely a part of why high end talents in that position weren't sought out.
If Zykov is there at 22, I think you have to take him. Not sure about prospects beyond the 2nd round, my knowledge is pretty limited there.

Then take a D-man with the 28th. Not a great chance we'd have the option of Morrissey at 22 anyways, but there's others like Bowey and Morin that could be had at 28.

Yer getting a good one no matter if it's Lazar (who is a C/RW multi positional player apparently), Zykov or Hartman. All three have their own NHL qualities about them.
Second round you are looking at players like, Oliver Bjorkstrand, Michael McCarron and Justin Bailey as I mentioned earlier.

I thought Zykov was going to be a nice moderate risk pick well in range of our two late firsts.
Then he went and won Q and CHL rookie of the year .... like a dick
