Pepsi you went to lengths to drive home that no one here supports the actions taken by Hamas on October 7 (nor their stated objectives generally).
You’re not suggesting that the war ends with the current iteration of Hamas remaining in control of Gaza?

Maybe after a read of the article below you will reconsider your disgusting position that the kidnapping, confinement, terrorizing and torture of innocent girls, mothers and grandparents is justified, and maybe, in your opinion, going forward should even be normalized. How many times does it have to be repeated that the war ends immediately upon the release of the hostages, the surrender of Hamas and assurances that terrorists from Gaza will no longer be capable of anything close to a repeat of the events of October 7.
Of course Hamas has no interest in that. Read their Charter.

What are you talking about? When did I say that was all justified?
What a disgusting post full of lies.

I’m pointing out the absurdity of feeling you ever need to repeat the concept that the war ends when one side loses.
If people don’t understand that then there’s a really fundamental misunderstanding of how war “works.” And if you genuinely believe you need to say it, let alone repeat it, ever, then you’re having an entirely different conversation than everyone else is having.
It’s not like these conversations go anywhere at the best of times. Like, it’s hard enough to get someone like blankall to just admit members of cabinet have more political power than “just a guy,” and you want to go backwards and pretend stuff like the above is still being debated? Come on, man. You’re better than that.

Look at posts 5668 and 5669. I think you were pretty clear as to your point.
If that is not your view, I take it back.

How on earth did you get that oct 7th was justified by that comment.

No, the continued confinement of the hostages. I am of the view they need to be immediately and unconditionally released.
Do you agree?

Obviously Hamas isn't going to agree to unconditionally release the hostages.

Don't muddy the water. You said I insinuated the oct 7th attacks were justified. That is a blatant lie.
That was the reply I replied to. Not going to entertain your questions.

Not just “justified” but “should be normalized.”
Straight up insane interpretation.

Nope, read what I said.

And, to be clear, that’s NOT on the side of “the captivity/terrorizing/torture of women is justified/should be normalized”… right? This is where you “take it back”… yeah?

Again. It’s been months. The hostages need to be freed now. All of them. Unconditionally.
Why is it so hard for people to say this?

It’s not hard, of course they should be. Again, what do you think you’re gaining by trying to get people to say it? Are you really so delusional that you’ve convinced yourself people critical of Israel are actually Hamas supporters? Is your ability to have a normal conversation so limited that any nuance beyond that binary is actually difficult for you to grasp? Serious question.
I mean, he probably just rejected playing the entirely transparent game you tried to play. It’s one thing to accuse someone of wanting to normalize torturing women under the guise of “oh if you don’t ACTUALLY believe that I’ll take it back,” but when they say the obvious (that they don’t) and you shift the goalposts and demand they answer a totally different question or else you won’t take it back and will just insinuate they think the ####ty thing you made up anyway… I don’t know, maybe you think people don’t see through that, but why exactly does he owe you an answer to anything?
You kind of just seem like a genuinely bad person tbh. You sit there accusing whoever of some wild things, meanwhile you’ve actually justified/normalized the torture and killing of thousands of women and children as the cost of doing business. “I know where you stand”… buddy, I don’t know if you really grasp where you stand.

Far from it on all accounts. I’m really worried that the next generation is way too accepting of the kidnapping and torture of innocents. That’s my own view. Maybe I’m wrong here.
