I hate these people. Shut yer f'ing hole.
Had one of those guys in my welding class. We all laughed when he failed the test.

Yeah, I kinda get this.

"Wait, didn't you do [thing] like [better way] before?"
"Well yeah, that was before the pandemic."
'Yeah, but the world has clearly moved on and learned to manage it, why isn't [thing] back to the way it was?"

After careful observation over many years, I've come to the conclusion that the Honda CRV must be the official vehicle of strugglers. Even minivans don't seem to be as white knuckle terrified of driving on snowy roads

People who stop in crosswalks and force people to walk into traffic when crossing the street.

I hope a flock of birds crap through your sunroof.

Yes that is me giving you the finger as I dodge a bus in the oncoming lane.

I'm far from a Derek Wills fanboy, but I love his constant back-handed shots at Sportsnet for not sending the radio crew on the road again, even after COVID doesn't require this anymore.

Lou: Is there a penalty? Not sure why there is a stoppage
Wills: I don't know Lou - we can't see everything so we just have to guess

Lou: Haven't seen Tanev for a bit...
Wills: Neither, but we can't see the bench so we can only speculate!

Lou: That scrum after the whistle came out of no where!
Wills: For us at least! The cameras weren't there for us to see

There are probably a dozen or so of these each road game and I love his continued effort at shaming Sportsnet every chance he gets.

While we're on the subject of crosswalks, people who don't hit the button and just dart into the crosswalk without checking and ensuring traffic has stopped. The fine folks of our neighbourhood can't seem to figure out that the place to park their cars is in their garages (literally every house and townhome in the neighbourhood was built with at least a double garage), so sightlines are already poor where the crosswalk is concerned, you not hitting the button is only making a bad situation worse.

Hit the f--king button, it takes half a second.

People who stand with their toes at the very edge of the curb. Listen fool, you’re not getting to cross the street quicker because you’re 2mm from the asphalt, how about you don’t be so stupid.

Meh....let natural selection sort it out IMO.

But I hear ya. OMW to work during the summer, teenage gal walks out from behind a car on the street. Headphones in, staring at her phone. Surprised the f out of me but stopped well short. The dood driving the heave AF asphalt truck beside me? Probably s**t his pants while standing on his brakes. Tires were smoking by the time he stopped. Gal did the stupid giggle/wave while still staring at her phone. Don't think she had any idea how close that was for her.

WRGMG is the cancer coming back in my brain. No surgery this time and I can pretty much never do radiation again, so chemo it is. I also started a new job in retail only 3 months ago and the physical demands of both the job and the chemo are draining me.

That seems like a little bit more than a 'gear grinder.'

Best of luck.

Best of luck to you. Dad had to go back on chemo recently, it's not a lot of fun. Get rest when you can.

Gets brain cancer for a second time, but gear grinder is about job performance. This woman's attitude is the stuff of legends.

Its all good. With a username like 'Frankster' I can totally understand the assumption and I'm sure she does too, I've just met her at a couple CP hockey pool meets.
