I want it so bad for the Jays this season, ugh. They've had many issues but have also been so resilient and seem like they're having a ton of fun

Wait, the Blue Jays won? Turned the game off after the 7th, to watch tennis.

Had thought to check the score later, but never had, then saw the score this morning.

That game, much like being a fan of this team, was as close to riding a roller coaster as you can get while sitting on your couch.

I was going back and forth between the game and SmackDown and once the game got out of hand I never bothered going back to the game. I found out they had won when they posted it on Facebook.

Again, that'll teach me for giving up.

Was letting the kids stay up a bit to watch the game....Figured it was pretty much over and I turned the game off and started putting the kids to bed after the top of the 8th...... then rocking the youngest to sleep checked to see bases loaded 8-3..... turned on sportsnet now no volume on the phone.... walk 1 in and then grand slam... I started freaking out(wish I had volume on). thankfully the boy stayed sleeping so I put him down. Tucked in the second youngest and then downstairs to the other two.... check the score 10-8 but 1 on and Springer up. Game goes back on the phone this time with volume. Saw the double and Semiens Homer with the two oldest. That was awesome, they are super into the Jays right now and were freaking out as much as I was.

Saw the stat that before last night, teams down 6+ in the 8th were 1-472 this season. So 99.8% of times you're fine to turn it off and only miss a loss.

Lets hope they can take the rest of this series and parlay that against the Yanks. Huge '4 point' games still here to come. Jays still have their fate in their own hands for the most part.

Good start to this game. Valera with his 1st homer of the year. Jansen now with a Homer and a double.
