According to one of the comments on Shayna's tweet, one of Kadri's cousins posted a pic of a Flames logo on FB just before her tweet. Could be an A+ level trolling though, I wouldn't get my hopes up yet.

Bottom line Barzal is much more valuable for the Flames than Hanifin. They have depth on defense. Weegar can do what Hanifin could and more.

Yeah Weegar can I agree, but the Flames D was exposed last playoffs as soon as Tanev went down. Depth is a good thing.
I would much rather sign Kadri ourselves and keep the depth on D

Capfriendly isn’t so friendly if you proforma kadri at some number like 7mm and try to re-sign Lindholm. It’s not easy.

Lindholm is up the same summer as Backlund, Tanev, Hanifin etc. there will be room for Lindy in 2 years (cap should also rise at that time)

It's difficult to look a couple years out with any certainty. Guys get traded, and young guys crack the lineup.

I already factored in cap growth. And replacing range and hanifin. Something has to give.

Yeah. Right now, Lindholm and Backlund make $10.2 combined. I would bet both re-sign, and the total cap hit will not be any higher than $10.2. Maybe lower.
