The absolute vilification and blame for all of the problems in the United States being laid at the feet of trans people must also be having an effect.

I am sure the Fonz was not coming from a good place, but his post, taken in isolation, was not that bad —just stating a fact. This place can be pretty reactionary based on posters' histories.
