Pavelski is an absolute money player. Since Dallas brought him in to supplement the younger core, he’s been better than the guys who were supposed to be leading the team.

He probably should have been a Selke candidate last season.

Based on different models he had the highest defensive wins among replacement among forwards in the league last year.

Back to Pavelski though talk about a big time add if we could find a way, he knows how to play in all situations and can play multiple positions through out. Was a main reason Dallas got to the finals in Covid Cup #1 putting up 13 goals. He’s a big time player and would fit in well with the top 6 almost immediately.

Honestly think the flames should be looking to do their adjustment if they are ahead of trade deadline. They/Treliving can’t really afford ‘missing’ again on a big stage like the deadline day so if they want to augment do it between now and the Olympic break.

Thing is, the sellers are probably going to say it's way too early. They will think they can either right the ship orget a much higher price at the TDL.

I would think there may be a couple teams that deem themselves sellers by the Christmas break but who knows, a team like Montreal comes to mind for example.

if the Flames pick up Clifford (I laughed at first, but then got a sinking feeling, pretty sure they can't fit him in anyway) then they need to go full on Kings 14 and get Toffoli at the deadline.
