While I'm on board for a return to the horror aspects, I did read that it's a bit of an island of misfit toys... or dinosaurs that mutated during the creation process.

Literally, the original set of dinos from the 1993 JP is MORE than enough dinos to satiate old and new fans.

Why do we have to get bigger, scarier, and more mutant-y?

Keep it simple, stupid.

It is Gareth Edwards and the writer for JP and TLW, so that's the only reason I'm giving it a shot. But I fear there was too much studio interference and it'll be another cluster####.

Only people who know Tim Robinson's other work will know that trailer is incredible. It probably won't help it get a larger audience but I'm in.

Big, dumb & scary is tired.

I actually think they should take a page from House of the Dragon where you feel a sense of emotion & personality from each dragon; do that with the dinosaurs.

Make them characters in the movie or a series of movies & have audiences feel something for the animals.

I watched a number of "I think you should leave" skits to get more familiar with Tim Robinson.

Some were top tier sketches. The hat sketch has to be the best. The Drivers Ed tables one is also outstanding.

Others I didn't like as much. Became later era Adam Sandler-y.

I have faith that we'll get his A game in Friendship. He has a great cast to play off of.
