Why though? If people don't believe something, what's wrong with questioning it? Especially when same poster continually posts things that never happen or posts too many rumors with different teams across the league.

Which insider has that many sources connected to all those teams?

I don't see a problem with questioning rumors. If people want to believe it then go for it. I also don't think it's out of bounds to question an anonymous person on a message board especially when they really haven't broken anything.

These rumors should be questioned imo or this thread really has no credibility.

Draisaitl wanting 4 years just sounds ridiculous and now we have pages of talking about a rumour that according to reputable sources isn't true.

Just my 2 cents.

I have said zero about any comments suggesting they don't buy it as a rumour and the reasons why.

Haven't broke anything? Lmao, bugger off you troll. Pretty much everything I have posted has been confirmed by other sources at a later date or have come to fruition.

Already answered by someone else but I honestly don't have any vendetta against anyone, but I ask questions when we bash Spector for being a hack in one place and then in another he's being used as an example to confirm a rumour an insider(?) has heard.

We have no way of proving it either way, but I just find it funny. Hardly a personal attack. I'd call you on it too, if you framed it the same way.

I don't think he has a tonne of trade value at all. Maybe some, but not a 1st or 2nd without a bad deal coming back.

Also, just like Kadri who every 3 months goes from a keeper to a minus value player, same could be said for Goodrow who is 31.

I think Kadri could get a 2nd with a bad contract coming back but might not be this year and it really depends on who he would waive too. If the list is 3 teams long, value is nothing.

Goodrow, had 2 good years with the Rangers but 1 bad year (decent playoffs), he could bounce back. Because he only has 3 years left on his deal vs 5 for Kadri and does not have a NMC, it's no unreasonable to think Goodrow could get just as good as a pick as Kadri when the time comes to trade them, especially considering it is easier to retain salary on Goodrow as high as 50% as early as next deadline and not have to worry about retaining salary too long.

Kadri out and Goodrow in eliminates risk of being stuck with Kadri.

Sure, we can buy out Kadri 3 years from now, but why waste salary cap for 4 years on a 2 year buy out if we don't have too. See what that is costly the Oilers by always wasting cap on nothing.

Don't take it personal, I just don't believe you have any reputable sources. You post rumors from across a lot of teams and would need to have multiple sources. We are allowed to not believe you without you resorting to name calling. Maybe someone is feeding you bad information and that would be on them, not on you.

Where did I say well this confirms it's true? I just noticed he had heard something similiar and I posted it. Seriously, at this point I think I am just going to keep what I hear to myself. I have enough negativity in my life without people coming down on me for sharing speculation and rumours. Maybe I need a break from here for a while.

Either of those options I’d be fine with but at one point you had Kadri retained with the Flames tossing something in. That’s 100% not worth it.

Do whatever you like. But don't act like you don't go into a lot of threads lording your insider knowledge over people as if the information isn't already confirmed in your head. Hell, in the other thread you accused someone of being a flat-earther for disagreeing with you about the direction of the Flames.

Reputable sources don’t bat 1000 either… it’s the trade RUMOURS and SPECULATIONS thread, what are you expecting? lol, question away but don’t be shocked to find yourself on ignore lists. Why not spur the topic into something more about the subject matter in the title rather than lamenting because a poster said something you think is false? That would be a pretty good offseason.

I think that all 3 would be matched in a heartbeat. IMO, They would have more value than a 2nd with that caphit.

Lunkvist(DAL) could be an interesting target, and could be the odd man out if DAL keeps Tanev.

Someone needs to fence them off for one more year and then Draisaitl's and Bouchards's new contracts kick in and they'll be screwed. That's close to 15 million more cap space needed just for their raise.
