Winnipeg's defense are playing nasty football and I love it. Keep making Durant's day miserable.Looks like Winnipeg will have to give up a safety.

I didn't like that last Winnipeg's sequence. I don't understand why Fred Reid was not use to get the ball out of the end zone on 1st and 2nd down. Then they punted the ball instead of giving the safety.

That last catch by the Riders was not a complete catch.

Riders only score 1 point with the wind at their backs - Huge win for the Bombers in that 3rd quarter.

Great job by the Bombers.

If the Bombers can hold on then Friday's Stamps/Riders game could almost seal up 1st place for the Stamps already. They should be 6 points up after tonight and a win on Friday would put them 8 points up with 7 to play. Pretty tough to blow that lead.

Are you kidding me, Ken Miller?!? You're down by 29 points with 6 minutes left and you kick the ball away?!?

You have to think that if the Stamps can win in Regina on Friday that they just might have the division wrapped up. The Stamps would be 10-1 and the Rider would be 6-5. But more importantly the Stamps would have won the season series from the Riders. Huge game for Saskatchewan on Friday night.

Friday should be a good game.

The Riders should be angry after today, and they're 5-0 at home so far this year. On the other hand, the Stamps are probably as close to firing on all cylinders as a team can get.

The next 5 weeks should really show us what the Stamps are made of: 2 against the Riders, both in Regina; a home-and-home against the Als; plus, an improved BC team.

The Stamps have been impressive lately, but they've also played 6 straight against the 3 worst teams in the League. So, you have to wonder if their record is inflated because of that, or if the other teams records have been hurt by playing against the Stamps.

If the Stampeders beat the Riders on Friday and the Lions win against a beatable Ti-Cats team things may start to get interesting with a race for 2nd place.

You know you are for a long day when you're punter is the MVP of the game for you. Eddie Johnson has been a great pickup for the Riders and comes to work every day and earns his paycheck.

The Stamps will likely split the two games in Suckskatchewan but it would be nice if they won this week and put the division away.

However, the Riders will be plenty motivated this week and the Stamps have gone a really long time since playing a top team. It's going to be a close game.

Magic numbers
for the Stamps to clinch a playoff spot: 1 (1 Calgary win or Edmonton loss)

for the Stamps to clinch a home playoff game: 3 (3 Calgary wins or BC losses, or one Calgary win against BC - which would give Calgary the season series)

for the Stamps to clinch first in the west: 6 (6 Calgary wins or Sask losses; however, a win over the Riders gives us the season series, which drops the magic number by one additional game. So a win next week would drop this magic number to just 3.)

Great game by the Bombers. I feel like they've played a bit better than their record indicates.

Tillman set to take Eskies reigns.

Probably the best choice...now go raid the Alouettes coaching staff.

I'm hoping he has one of his own guys in mind for the HC position. Looks like the days of the Eskimos being doormats will be coming to an end. Wonder if he will let Richie coach out the season or if there's pressure on him to have the team into the playoffs (sadly it's still a possibility).

I didn't think Tillman would get another job after the allegations against him... Then again, I'm sure he could've raped someone during the interview and still looked like an improvement on Maciocia.
