He generated the rebound that kept the entire play going instead of gloving the puck when it was shot at him the first time.

Weber wins it on a bomb in OT thanks to a famous Kesler dive.

Goes to show you can't sit on a one-goal lead for an entire period. You want to win championships then go after it. That was pure garbage of a third period for Canada.

Nope not sur grapes that is what has happened all tournament for the States.
That play had the puck bounce off at least two skates and go to an American, if the Canadians have any luck it goes to one of them.
It wasn't caused because someone beat their man or a nice pass, it was a 100% lucky bounce that the puck went to Parise.

First goal Luongo should have had.
Second goal, defence should have been there to clear.

I think this will be a loss after that. Canada won't have any pushback equal to the Americans.

I can't believe how close we were to finishing it. Right now, I truly am 'crushed.'
Ideas for who wins it in OT?
I wouldn't mind Nash getting it, for his work earlier in the game.
I won't speculate other options.

Had an idea!
|
Double deflection on the tying goal and it lands right on Parise's stick.
But seriously, Luongo should have gloved the puck and HELD it, not put it in play again.

If Niedermayer has been Canada's best player, that would explain why we have an overtime coming up instead of our national anthem.

God freaking damn it.
I call for an Iginla one-timer in OT that wins it.
Someone is going to be a hero today. It better be a Canadian.

why just because the panel has a love in for him? Yeah after he made a burtal turnover earlier he worked hard to try to make up for it and for it they;re singing his praises, of course had he not turned it over it would have been a moot point.
Did you watch the last goal, do you know what he was doing? Cause I sure don't.
