Anyways, he ends up winning b/c of some glitch or was he cheating and punching in some codes to do that?

I don't understand because I know what he was doing, he was changing the view of the camera (home up, away up, always up, etc.), but I don't get why it would change your view, it makes no sense.

Probably a glitch. I HIGHLY doubt you can punch in cheat codes like that...

I've had this happen too, although it wasn't clear to me that it was being caused or influenced by the person I was playing against. The thing is - you can actually control your goalie, its just from the wrong end of the ice so he's tiny, and controls are reversed left to right because its mirror image to your normal perspective.

I think currently if you button through to fast to advance to the shot it may screw with your camera at times. Is this occurring even if your a few seconds patient in buttoning through?

No, that is not the case b/c the player pauses the game for about 10 to 15 secs, unpauses and all I could see was my goalie from all the way down the ice and had no control of him. Has to be a glitch or this player has figured out a cheat in the shootout.

I've never had this happen to me yet. I did a little looking into this on google though. What I gathered is that most people have the 'Prefer Up' view selected, and this glitched is triggered by that. I also read that it normally depends on if you're home or away as well. I don't know, I don't think it is a matter of people glitching on purpose to cheat and win.
It's weird that he was pausing it everytime. Maybe he was getting the same glitch happen on his side?
Another beef I have with the game is icing. Once the puck crosses the line it is icing no matter what. It is never called off. I once had the puck go all the way down the ice off an errant pass. I had no chance of being the first player down the ice to touch it, and the other team could have very well grabbed the puck well before the half-boards. He instead skated closely beside the puck until it crossed the line and icing was then called.

Do you guys know if i can change speed burst back to tapping saucer pass?
too often i click LT to make my playing face the goalie before a shot, only to have him push the puck in front of him and go for the chase, completely ruining my plan of attack

Yup, I think it was a CCM one. Actually, it may not be a new one, it may have already been in the game, I don't know.

thats kinda unfortunate. while i personally think the custom ones are stupid, part of what has made the equipment bad this year is that it forces everyone to use the same stuff. so while i am happy i can wear a real helmet, i think it will be just as boring seeing everyone with that helmet now.
i wish they could just seperate the equipment from the slots. there is so much gear that never gets used because it doesn't have slots.
edit: also, i would assume that this new helmet needs to be unlocked or purchased as well. whats the requirement for unlocking it?

ok, thats equally frustrating for people that spent money to buy a helmet or spent time unlocking one.
though perhaps it had a requirement that you had already reached? like earning your legend card or something?

Heh, maybe. But I'm pretty sure there wasn't a picture of a lock, I think it is available to everyone.

Thanks for reposting that. I downloaded the patch and then got online on my PS3 to see what the patch did. It's hard as hell to search for anything properly on those things.
