I just got the VLC free. It controls VLC from your phone. The pay version lets you select files, playlists etc. The free one just does play/pause/forward.
It works really well. Not that I think this stuff is magic but it is pretty close. Very cool little app.
fwiw I also use twitterfon, I like how it highlights new tweets. Wild west pinball is also really fun.
MLB at bat 2009 is an awesome app if you are a baseball nut, I also have an mlb.tv account which you can log into from the app and watch all the baseball games live on your phone (the app gives you one live game a day and condensed ones of all the other games). I think it is well worth the 9.99.

Is that $9.99 one time or monthly. One time that is awesome.
One time. Or at least for this season, I don't know if it will work next season. I have the app and I concur that it is awesome.

So apparently there is an XM/Sirius app that allows you to listen to satellite radio...or so it seems, I haven't looked into it too much. Problem is, I don't think Canadians can get it. This bugs me, as I have an American XM account.
Is there a way to work around this and get it on my phone without jailbreaking it?

Yeah, I have a US XM account as well. I would assume the only way to do that would be to have a US account on iTunes. There are ways to do this, but I have never bothered.
Anyone know of some good multiplayer games? Not games where you play with a friend on the same phone, but through wifi or 3G?

I'm not much into games, especially iphone games, but this rope 'n fly has got me kind of hooked. While bored the other day I tried the lite version. Minutes later I was bucking up the .99 cents for the full.
I had that happen once or twice, I have no idea why. It went away after I synched and then all was fine again.

My latest addiction is I Dig It. You have a drilling machine and are given the task of collecting materials underground to help pull a farm out of debt. As you collect more things you can upgrade your digger to get deeper and deeper into the earth. Deeper you go the more valuable the materials get, but you need enough fuel to get back out, enough coolant to keep from overheating, good enough radar to see in the dark and enough hull strength to not break down. Very very fun.

I got this game and think its fantastic aswell. There is a java based game i used to play where it was the exact same concept, except on the PC you dug down to the core and fought a monster to win.
