A few pics I took yesterday hanging out in Century Park here in Shanghai.
Nobody Chinese seemed to recognize these as ducks, until one little kid walked up with his dad and actually called them 'duck' in English. Everyone else around was confused about what they were.
Strange 'Just for Laughs' hedge art in Shanghai. Nothing posted near it as to why it's there.

Nothing like smog for a beautiful sunset.
this last picture is the one I was taking when my cell phone got stolen from me. Then I chased down the guy I thought had taken it, and got in a big argument in Chinese for half an hour with this guy yelling at me about how disgusting foreigners are, how foreigners don't belong in China and I should get out of their country. And then things got settled by security, but no phone.
I'm really more pissed off about that argument than losing the cell phone.

Hey Rhetts, what beach is that? Crystal Crescent?
Here's a few I took in Alberta when I was out there last summer/fall.
First one is looking down some street in Banff.
This one is, IIRC, just outside Canmore.
And finally, this is a sunset down in Griffith Woods, SW Calgary.
