Incredible that the Caps have Parascak, Hutson, Muggli, Protas, Leonard and Cristall from the last two drafts

Canada has Dickinson who was drafted in the 2024 draft so it is not just an American thing.

For how dominant Dickinson is in junior hockey, he hasn't looked amazing in any of these games yet.

I'm still waiting for him to do something.
He was the guy who was supposed to carry this offence from the back.

Really good first period and Canada was great defensively 5 on 5, but once again, no ability to generate offense.

Also, if you call that trip, you have to call that dive.

Is it just me or is Cowan just not very good? Just plays selfish hockey

He's very Kadri.

The difference being that tight checking hockey is how you win when you have an untalented team like Calgary.

Team Canada should be able to go shot for shot with this US team lol.

That is a dumb dumb penalty. This US team is painfully mediocre but you cannot give them power plays.

Yagers is having a strong game IMO. Cowan, I'm just not a fan of Kadri style hockey.

Huska would coach them the exact same way. It's the only way he knows how to coach, everything from the perimeter, nobody in front, no skill plays allowed. The Flames have more skill then you think but it's neutered

How bad is the American coach then, they generate almost nothing 5 on 5. Pretty good powerplay though.

How do the States only have 7 shots?
