My nephew made the trek from Medicine Hat to cheer on his Tigers. I'm disowning him.
He messaged my son who I was at the game with and a big fight broke out in the parking lot after the game. Some Tiger fan was taunting a Canes fan and the Canes fan had enough and they fought. That's all I know. My son's friend got into a fight in Medicine Hat on Friday night and was banned from their building. The rivalry is mostly between the fans this year not the players.
As for the water bottle... I'm not sure if there was one or two thrown. Something got thrown and don't make it to the ice, either a 2nd was thrown or someone in the lower bowl lobbed it onto the ice. Initially I thought it may have came from the press box due to the trajectory of where it came from but that doesn't really make sense. I don't think the officials even noticed it either.

This game really showed the legs that Medicine Hat has. Lethbridge started great and were skating with a purpose, but by the 3rd their legs were gone. The long playoff series has hurt the Canes and they can't stay with the fresher Tigers.
Lethbridge was doing well when simplifying their game and getting pucks to the net. Once they stopped just getting pucks on net was when Medicine Hat clawed back in (along with using their speed). Also, if Lethbridge could ever figure out how to not turn the puck over at their own blue line, it would be helpful.
Talking with the linesman after the game, no one noticed the water bottle but it was full. Safe to say that person won't be welcomed back into a game at all as there is no place for that.

4-1 Tigers after two periods. Just a solid 20 minutes away from the WHL Championship series.

Great effort by the Canes in period 3, but Gavin just iced it with the empty net dagger.

Take it with a grain of salt, but I've heard that the Tigers should get both Basha and Lindstrom back for the finals.

Hearing through the grapevine that there's going to be a bunch, more, of WHLers heading to the NCAA for next season. Kids who have multiple years of junior eligibility left.

Cristall has 20 goals. So far. In the playoffs.
That top line for Spokane is pretty insane.

Yeah, that top line for the Chiefs is something else, but the Tigers top line isn't exactly chopped liver either. If they cancel each other out, then it could be the depth guys that make the difference. Hunter St, Martin and Mat Ward have really stepped up their respective games, but the biggest addition in my eyes has been defenseman Tanner Molendyk, he is just such a steady influence on the backend while also contributing offensively.
I also think the Tigers have an edge between the pipes. Really looking forward to this series, having to wait a week before it starts is tough lol.

The last time the Hurricanes traded their starting goalie in the middle of the season was Stuart Skinner to Swift. Here's hoping Harry gets the same treatment. Tigers in 7

Yeah I'll never forget that year, they ended playing each other on the 2nd round of the playoffs and Skinner stole a pivotal game 5 and then stoned the Canes in game 6 in the first period when they put up like 20 shots.

You want Harry to go on to be a decent 1b or backup in the NHL but be put into the role of being the #1 on a poor team and blamed for all the defensive mistakes the rest of the team makes? You're cruel.
