Yeah things are getting pretty stale with the team. Part of the problem is Dave's stubbornness to try and prove that he can win with Maier as his starting QB. He actually had a brilliant game plan yesterday and had the Als on their heels for three quarters but eventually they adjusted and forced Maier to make throws which is where everything fell apart for the Stamps. We have simply seen way too many games over the past two seasons where Jake simply can't make the throws when the Stamps need a clutch throw. He was clearly rattled last night and played scared to throw a pick which resulted in a lot of balls thrown into the turf nowhere near the receivers. I just don't understand why Dave is putting this guy ahead of the team as he's just not the guy and will never be the guy and yet he keeps putting the players and fans through this cycle of a mediocre QB just not getting the job done and letting down the rest of the team.

Not convinced the Stamps have the dynamic type wide out needed either. Its the biggest reason the team doesn't throw more than 15 yards downfield along with a shaky (at times) Oline.
The sad thing is, they have one on the roster too with Henry, dude just can't stay healthy. It's tragic.
I don’t know. Michel and Philpot can be explosive players. We are using Philpot as a running back and throwing 2 yard passes to Michel.
We also run the most WR screens in the league. If you’re going to do that you need better blocking receivers and I don’t think these guys are built for that.
It’s the scheme but it’s also a scheme built around a QB they don’t trust to make big plays.
It’s early on. They need to go into a game and just let it rip and see what they have in this guy. I don’t think Jake has the stuff.
Maybe we need to call George Cortez back and get some creativity into the scheme and some 6 wide options that they created.
It's starting to look like Milanovich won't last the season as Ti-Cats head coach. It seems like teams would be wise to start hiring more Stamps coordinators instead of recycling guys like Jones and Milanovich where you may get a high floor but almost assuredly a low ceiling.

I think it's really bad for the league that Hamilton is this ####. The fans there are pretty awesome especially for the east, and it honestly sucks that they have to deal with such a terrible ####ing product. I would, in a heartbeat, trade the bombers Grey Cup in Hamilton for any one of the last two against Montreal or Toronto. It's so Hamilton the way they lost that game and are so ####ing inept
We might be better off with Bo here. He leads the league in TD passes and INTs.
Jake is averaging 230 yards passing a game. Mitchell is at 334.
I was thinking about this yesterday as well. I doubt it happens, but the Ti-Cats are terrible and going nowhere this season. Would they even be interested in Jake Maier though?
According to Justin Dunk, the Stamps have signed Jamal Morrow.
Guys dropping like flies necessitated bringing somebody in.
The Stampeders were without starting running back Dedrick Mills in the team’s Week 5 loss to the Montreal Alouettes, while Peyton Logan and B.J. Emmons both suffered injuries during the contest.

Bo has been a little better this season but his stats are pretty inflated by garbage time stats. Last night it was 14-0 and Bo didn't even complete his first pass until less than 3 minutes left in the first quarter and it was 24-1 when he completed his 3rd pass in the 2nd quarter. He basically put up all 300 yards and 3 TD passes when the game was long over. Maybe he would have been able to make a play or two more than Maier but I don't know if he's the solution to any team's problems.

Don’t know if bringing him back is the answer, but it’s not like we have a lot of options.
Wow I didn't realize their record was so bad as they have been in the playoffs way more than 4 times over the last 20 seasons. I guess that's the result of a perennially bad conference where it wasn't uncommon for Montreal to be the only team in the division with a winning record so losing records were often good enough for at least one eastern team to make the playoffs. You have to feel for Hamilton fans as that's pretty abysmal in a 9 team league.
