Kind of just goes to show that a cup contending team like COL can just flip a switch down 5-3 and win the game in 6 minutes. Flames have a long way to go to be "contenders". Not that that is new news.

But it should slap some sense into management a bit I hope.

Flames were careless in the 3rd, they started throwing the puck around and stopped skating. You are not going to win games giving the puck back to the opposition every time you get it.

Again, I said he's far from perfect but I watched him make several nice passes/plays tonight and no one finished. He also made some mistakes. It's what all players do.

The problem has always been the Flames franchise in general, he's not a fit with this team, and we haven't done much to make it a good fit. He's just not going to get a ton of points playing with Coleman and Backlund, just like last year when he was playing with Lucic. It's not like our system has changed much, and Huska isn't known for coaching teams that are offensively creative.

I just find it annoying when all anyone is looking for are mistakes. He makes them, but he makes good plays as well. It's tiring.

Calgary's forward group just isn't great.

It appears that he knew this group wasn’t where it needed to be and he wasn’t about to give them an easy way out

Honestly he is worth 10.5M as much as Lucic was worth 5M

Sutter is one of the worst things to happen to this franchise. Went on one fluke playoff run and gave ownership and fans the delusion that all you need to do is sneak in to the playoffs and you could win it all. Still has a mass following that will defend him to the end.
