The funniest part is they probably ran about 40 halftime show commercials during the wildcard playoff games. Brought to you by Pepsi.

Gay, 23, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. local time and booked at the Johnson County Jail. He has pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was released Thursday after posting $1,000 bond and is due back in court on March 2, per the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.
Gay is alleged to have caused criminal damage of less than $1,000. Per a District Court of Johnson County affidavit, the damaged property included a vacuum cleaner, a wall and door frame. The class B non-person misdemeanor "constitutes a domestic violence offense," per the affidavit.
Hate to say it...but domestic violence and Chiefs players have a bit of history here. Hopefully this get's a bit of attention and they can do something for Gay to get him to change this behavior before it gets to the point where he tries damaging more than property. Might be the type of thing that authorities would turn a blind eye to in the past only to have it eventually manifest into something worse.

Yeah I genuinely have no recollection of the event in question...I watch on DAZN, maybe thats why? Let's go with that haha. Anyway, Twitter was a flutter with it all morning yesterday, including blue checkmark (verified, for the non-bird app folk) NFL related accounts quote tweeting it with , everyone acting like the news just broke on my TL.
Not sure why yesterday was the day Twitter finally got all excited about it, but here we are. And it seemed like it was the main talking point in this thread afterwards yesterday so you're welcome haha. I'm pretty fired up for it actually. I mean more than it being traditionally seen as beer run time for me anyway..

Anyone doubting the Chiefs, I’d just like to mention that this so-called down year for Mahomes won Matt Ryan an MVP in 2016

Who is doubting the Chiefs? Seems like the strong consensus is the winner of the Bills-Chiefs game will be the AFC Super Bowl representative, and that the Bills-Chiefs game is a complete tossup.

Skip Bayless, for one.
All the media clowns who’d take Joe Burrow for the next 5 years.
It’s a thing - not really directed at anyone specifically here though.

What an absolutely colossal #######. Weird that the usual "stick to sports" media and fans have been so silent on this.

"But when you say stuff like that, and then you have the CDC, which, how do you even trust them, but then they come out and talk about 75% of the COVID deaths have at least four comorbidities. And you still have this fake White House set saying that this is the pandemic of the unvaccinated, that's not helping the conversation."

Fine.
But then he tries to lie about it to the NFL to avoid public scrutiny or to avoid having to abide by COVID protocols.
And then he says stuff like this which is just not factually true or logical.
If he didn't want to get the vax then he should have just not gotten the vax, followed the protocol, and shut up about it. But it's not just about not getting vax to him, he want's to use his platform to try to spread his BS about it.

The power Rodgers has is that he knows the nfl are slaves to money and their corporate sponsors.
Cash is king.

The King returns today. I have nothing but bad memories when the Titans get the #1 seed, it would be nice if they won one of these games. Everyone doubts the Titans but like the Judds say, Why not us?
