Shoot! Oh well. Just let him get healthy.

Great news about Atkins. Definitely a couple missteps along the way, but no GM is perfect. His body of work is largely positive. The dramatic overhaul of our farm system is something that really stands out. It was mostly barren when he took over. Good news!

Atkins has done a pretty good job considering what he was left with. An aging roster and a weak farm system. Not that I fault AA for that as the team had a window and he went for it. It was always gonna be a tough task to turn it back around and so far so good.

Quite the difference going from Roark to Ryu. Strikes out the side in the 1st. That's a little better.

Sure beats watching Roark pitch down the middle every other pitch

Just a different sound when Vladdy hits the ball.

One mistake for Ryu and it's 1-0 Texas. Maybe stay away from that fastball down the middle.

Why didn't Vladdy just catch that? He's still learning, but no reason to try to scoop it if you can just stretch and catch it.

Some soft contact finding holes for the Rangers so far. Looks like the bats are gonna have to wake up if they're gonna salvage this series.

*wakes up with great excitement for an Ace pitching and nice day game

- Ace surrenders two runs right away
- Opposing pitcher virtually unhittable with 5 stroke outs already
- Star acquisition that we've been so exited to see later in the week suffers second injury of the year without playing a game

Just awesome, I just love seeing my excitement dashed all the time in sports. I do question why we do it sometimes? There's so much joy in the world to be had and sports take up so much of your life's time for so little payoff, lol.

Feel like it's just a matter of time before they swap Semien and Bichette. Semien's defense is just so much better than Bo's. I really like Bo, but he is a 2nd baseman, he just doesn't have the arm strength to be a high end SS defensively.

Despite the home run the other hits on Ryu have been dinky little hits finding holes. The Jays are hitting balls, just hitting them at players (and striking out). Except Vlad, who hits balls so hard that by the time the player is ready to catch it the ball is past them.

Agreed on Semien playing SS. His defense is pretty special.

You’re way too emotional for the sixth game of a baseball season.

I really hope the Jays can land Correa this next off season. Bo is not a viable long term SS option IMO.

I turned the game off. I can't watch these guys hit right now, they are completely lost. Just terrible at bats.

I can't stand the camera angles at this ball park. I can never follow the ball off the bat.

Can't stand when umps give borderline/bad pitches to pitchers just because it's a 3-0 count.

Bases loaded with heart of the order coming up! Big at bat for Biggio

Edit: Ground out into double play... maybe Biggio should have taken a pitch
