Right, but most scouting reports had Bennett above Draisaitl as well.
I guess sometimes 18 year old kids just don't develop the way you expect all the time.

Every time I see Weber, I'm reminded of the story during his draft year of some scout saying that Weber would one day become a better defenseman than Dion Phaneuf.
I distinctly remember scoffing and declaring, that it was preposterous. All the while Phaneuf was on his way to a 20 goal rookie season.
And here we are.
