Markstrom is doing exactly what we need, and what the 78 goalies before him couldn't - hold the fort.

CGY has to have their best skating period. No penalties. Keep playing with the puck and continue the zone time and shots. Great second deserves an even better third for CGY. Be smart no ill advised risks but

Do not go into a defensive shell.

Random thought - So if the Canadian refs only ref in the Canadian division, are there going to be substantially different refereeing standards between Canada and the US by the playoffs?

If Mike Smith is in net the score is likely 3-3 and we’re all happy that it’s tied.

Crazy what an elite goalie brings.

I hope they do! But it going to get real physical out there if the flames score the next 1. I like our odds

If refs are coaching I think we have bigger issues

Have to say... It's hard to not be wearing a #### eating grin right now after all that babbling by Canucks fans and pundits about how their top talent is so elite and the envy of the league.

Nice to smack a bit of humility into them.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Rebuilding isn't a linear process. There's ups and downs and they were due for the latter.

I’d like to see Mangi and Dube both in the top 6.

If Mike Smith was in goal, this game is six or seven nothing after the first.
