Looks like Twitter has outright removed his last two tweets repeating the “stolen election” language from them. After Facebook removed the pre-tapped statement from this afternoon.

Assuming we make it through this month I think twitter/facebook/google are gonna have a heck of a battle in front of them in terms of new regulations. The rumblings have been there for a few years, but with this latest incident I don’t see how they can continue to profit off misinformation without having some responsibility for it’s spread.

I think people incorrectly got hung up on the "pre-recorded" term earlier. I assume it was "pre-recorded" as in "not live" meaning it was recorded 20 mins before it aired, say, and not that it was pre-recorded earlier that morning in anticipation of riots.

NBC interviewing a republican congressman who is saying the rioting has nothing to do with Trump or republicans contesting the election. Says he will still contest the Electoral College certification. He just said on NBC nightly news that this is fake news and these are actually Antifa making Republicans look bad. Didn't get interrupted or corrected by the NBC news anchor, just let him go on for like 3 or 4 minutes uninterrupted.

And the POS news guy with NBC is just letting him spout his BS without asking any serious questions.


This is why this happens. Because NBC is giving these kinds of people a voice to spout their bull####. This is the state of even the most liberal of news networks.

As I said, the further we get into this day, the more numbly incredulous I'm becoming. I hope it's over but I don't think that it is. Hence my astonishment at any of this sort of conspiracy theory stuff even entering my mind.
