I honestly thought they were doing some good work in the offensive zone in that first period until the tires fell off. Well maybe this much of an ass kicking will be beneficial in the coming weeks, let's just hope they figure it out.

It was definitely going to happen, I just hoped he had 1 year left in the tank to bind us through to a younger goalie taking over. Rittich is going to get thrown into the fire and it's going to be sink or swim. I really like Rittich and hope he can handle it.

Are people even aware of the copious uncontested quality high danger area chances given up tonight?
Just like in NY and Montreal.
Sure the goaltending wasn’t great . That is not close to being the primary issue at this juncture.
Embarrassing but great example of what happens to poor puck management and putrid defensive teams.
