There really wasn't a loser in that trade. Kiprusoff wasn't going to get the same opportunity in San Jose, and Vlasic would not have been a difference-maker in Calgary if they didn't have a goalie.

Scottie Upshall just failed his physical.
Well, Chiasson, you're their only hope.

Oilers can not be saved.
Not even Stanley Cup winner Alex Chiasson can save them.
No one can.

Nah, we're using the parody version. I think he's called Bavid Dyrne, lead singer of the Walking Sheds.

What? Was it an injury? If you're a Vet on a PTO you should be in shape or not looking for a PTO.

When you say "they", are you referring to Peter Chiarelli or the oilers' fan base? It doesn't really matter, the answer is no.

For an Achilles injury thats been surgically repaired? 4-6 months tops. He will be able to play again this season most likely.

This could probably be skirted with a deft touch and an understanding between player and management/history of treating injured players with respect... So... Lol

It would not be considered crazy for an achilles injury to be given a year to heal before getting back to playing a professional sport.
Sometimes achilles injuries are career ending.
