I'm not exactly sure what that would accomplish since my post was based on the belief that he signed elsewhere. Maybe I should quote your post if he doesn't sign with the Flames? I wouldn't do that of course because I don't feel that adds anything positive to the discussion.

So had a buddy who was taking to Burke the other day and asked about he asked him about Jagr. Burke said while he would be great as a player, his group brings too much distraction to the team. Doesn't look too good on the Flames front but Burke also isn't the GM so you never know

No as when have I mentioned I would say "I told you so"? The original post was taken out of context as I reacted to him supposedly signing in Florida thanks to Boomer being an idiot. I still don't believe he wants to play here and it's not necessarily a Flames or Canada thing but the fact that he would rather stay east for an easier travel schedule. Maybe he is considering the Flames (if they have even thrown a legit offer his way) and holding out for dollars, maybe he's holding out hope for an eastern team to make him a better offer. We don't know but considering he's played on 8 teams so far and 7/8 have been eastern based and the other central there doesn't appear to be much of an appetite for him to play out west. If he doesn't sign here it wouldn't be an "I told you so" and more of an "is what it is as the guy doesn't want to play out west".

I have a buddy  please don't let this be true cmon Tre don't let Burke run this team listen to what Glen says about what it was like to coach him when he was in Dallas. Don't know what to believe anymore all I know is I think this team still needs to add a scoring winger
