I wonder if the refs were worried they'd be accused of calling a penalty every time Gaudreau got touched so they are now overdoing it the other way. Either that or they don't like him.

It's been what was posted before the game, but with Ferland out the LWs have been rotating a bit. Plus the shift after a PP is always kinda random and IIRC we scored one right after a powerplay.

If I was ever mad at Chiasson earlier in the year for being dumb, I forgive him. His chemistry with Gaudreau-Bennett has been beautiful tonight.
Also nice to see Stajan and Brouwer score on deflections. We have missed Hudler/Colborne on those all year.
