No, but he is certainly not jumping at the chance to play for the flames like Arnold or Johnny did.
Where are you getting this from?
You really expected him to sign on easter when he was sick? Calgary has 8 games left, not one.
I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes an excellent #3 center but people still #### on him since he isn't Nieuwendyk. Don't get the hate, seems like the more knowledgeable people are the more they like him.

Completely different scenarios. Johnny and Arnold had to sign and play right away if they wanted to burn the first year of their contracts. Jankowski still has 6 more games after tonight.
Also, it sounds like the Flames would prefer him to sign an NHL deal for next season and play out the rest of this season in the AHL. He has to weigh those options too. Signing an NHL deal now puts some extra cash in his pocket, but playing the rest of the season in the AHL might be better for his long-term development.

LOL. How do you take from my post hate? In every other post i have said i hope he signs.
Also i have a hard time believing anybody on this message board ever believed he would be the next Nieuwendyk. The only person that probably ever thought that no longer works for the flames or will ever be a GM again.
Is it possible he's mad at Burke for comments about Feasters drafting? Or did I dream that happened?
No. If Burke has said half the positive things about Jankowski to his face as he has said to the fans when speaking to the season ticket holders, there shouldn't be any doubt about Burke's feelings towards him now, whether he liked the pick originally or not.
Janko helped lead Burke's alma mater to its first ever National Championship. He loves the kid.

Just because we don't know doesn't mean no one knows.
I have a feeling that the shuffling today had something to do with the decision ... I just don't know if they called those guys up knowing there would be open roster spots in Calgary and Jankowski could fill in down in Stockton; or if they called those guys up to give them all an NHL game today before they sign Jankowski and he takes one of the NHL roster spots.
