I think we all knew this day would be coming. NHL can't be too far behind

NBA owners are scheduled to vote this week on putting ads on jerseys for the 2017-18 season, multiple sources told ESPN.

The measure is expected to pass, according to sources. Several teams have begun testing the market to sell the potentially lucrative ads, which would be placed in a 2.5-by-2.5-inch patch on the left shoulder.

A proposal was presented to the owners in February during a meeting at the All-Star Game in Toronto with the expectation that a decision would be reached at this week's board of governors meeting, held in New York on Thursday and Friday.

The initial proposal to owners was for teams to keep 50 percent of the sponsorship money from the jersey ads and for 50 percent to be added to the revenue-sharing pool for all teams.

To be honest, I don't mind it. It doesn't bother me much on CFL jerseys and the fan jerseys don't have them on it.

After a successful season Toronto gets Indiana first round. I expect that they win this series. Carroll will need to be around do stop Paul George and if he does that I'll take the Raps in 5.

Should be a curious spectacle. Utah is about to be eliminated from the playoffs so they have nothing to play for. And of course the Lakers will feed Kobe the ball all night. It would be very Kobe to go out scoring 40 by taking 34 shots. NBA should have moved the game to tomorrow night just to not conflict with the Warriors going for 73.

If Curry took 50 shots with his shooting percentages today, he would have had nearly 100 points.

60 points for Kobe is amazing, and a fantastic story.

Curry had 46 points on 24(!) shots. Playing just over half the game. Nearly unbelievable.
