Well looks like the Free Agent Frenzy telecast between TSN and Sportsnet becomes the Toronto Maple Leafs network again. Granted it is the biggest news of the day but I am more interested in some of the free agent signing. I guess I am done watching and just check SureLoss signing announcement from time to time.

I think Boomer and Kerr have it right. Phase one of todays festivities are done. Phase 2 should kick off later today.
I think the Flames are done playing in the FA pool but I'm not convinced that they're done in the trade market. There's some room they need to make in the FW group.
They can afford to shuffle out 2-3 FW's. And that can likely happen once phase 2 kicks in.

Canucks sign Matt Bartkowski to a 1-Year deal
Of note, Bartkowski would have been a Flame had the Iginla to Boston trade been completed

Surprised Belesky is still out there - if he isn't careful he's going to price himself into a lower contract as teams move on and hand out deals elsewhere.
I think he very well could overplay his hand here.
