Why should Frequitude not support Spurs? They think every year could be the year and it hasn't been their year since the 60's.
While I am an Arsenal fan, I'd recommend Swansea or Southampton. They won't be challenging for the league but they try to do the right thing in terms of developing youth and playing attractive football. Both clubs are going in the right direction and will partake in some exciting matches for their supporters.

Yeah, but if you ever want to go see your favourite team play in their home stadium, you probably don't want to pick Swansea.
Jose Mourinho has two games to save his Chelsea job, club sources have told ESPN FC, with Carlo Ancelotti interested in taking over even on a temporary basis.
Although club owner Roman Abramovich has wanted to give Mourinho time, sources said his vote of confidence after the home defeat to Southampton in early October would only extend until the November international break.
legitimately would recommend no one who can choose a team to follow chooses Spurs, they are essentially the club equivalent of the English national team
not only will they let you down, they will do it in gloriously in new and devastating ways
Club Captain and best player promises he isn't winding down his contract to join your biggest rivals? Oh I wonder what happened next
Develop the best English CB of his generation? let's take away the ligaments in his Knee
need to beat a horrible West Ham side to make the CL? whole team gets poisoned by lasagna the night before
finish ahead of Chelsea one year and ready to go to the CL, with multiple journalists saying Eden Hazard wants to go to the team if they make the CL (Bale and Hazard roaming either wing). No thanks, I'd rather have a piss poor Chelsea squad luckbox their way through the CL.
Barca go up 2-0 at the Nou Camp (2-1 on aggregate) absolutely destroying them. Ramires scored to take the lead on away goals but all Barcelona need is 1 goal to go through with 30 minutes.
Lionel Messi will miss a penalty and Fernando Torres scores to put Chelsea through
Flash Forward to the CL final with Chelsea missing 2 of their back 4 and their best CM
Game Stats
35 attempts to 9
20 corners to 1
Chelsea tie the game in the 89th minute
Arjen Robben misses a penalty in extra time
then when the game goes to penalties a GERMAN misses a penalty which lets Chelsea win the game
Which causes, because of an idiotic rule that has since been rescinded, 4th place in the Premier League no longer making the CL
With the new stadium in 2 years we will be able to match any team in England in spending outside Man United, but no actual Spurs fan expects the glorious failures to end, if anything they will just be more glorious

Liverpool and Spurs in a dead heat for second. Sorry Locke, not compelling enough I don't think. Though maybe it's the others who submarined your cause.

Other bids are welcome.
Going to the highest bidder? Sounds like you should be a Man City fan.

Manchester United - "the We Want to Be the Biggest Club in the World choice". Was once a popular choice for glory hunters due to extreme success in the Ferguson era, but have struggled a bit since he retired in 2013. Have started to invest heavily in the transfer market in the last years, but are playing extremely dull football at the moment.
FC Arsenal - "the Attractive Football choice". Are known for having the ability to play very attractive football, but frustrate their fans with a questionable transfer strategy and a consistently bad injury record. Known for significant hot and cold streaks during a season. Always in the running for trophies, but never winning them.
FC Chelsea - "the Win Ugly choice". Have only been relevant for ~10 years now because of a Russian owner who was willing to invest heavily in the club. Could potentially play exciting football but generally choose not to. Not very popular with other supporters because of questionable character right now (Mourinho, Costa, Terry etc).
Manchester City - "the Sugardaddy choice". Were irrelevant until a wealthy Sheikh started to invest HEAVILY in the club. Basically bought their way to the top, but have loads of quality on the pitch as a result. Can play exciting football at times. "Old" supporters still have an inferiority complex after being overshadowed by United for a LONG time.
FC Liverpool - "the Football Romantics Choice". Were extremely successful in the 80s, but have been average most the times since then. Desperate for silverware, but at the same time want to do it the "right way". Their home fans generate what is probably the best atmosphere at any football ground in the top leagues.
Tottenham Hotspur - "the Underdog Choice". Perennially overshadowed by their London rivals in terms of success. Known for having a great youth setup and for developing top players, but rarely able to keep those players from moving to bigger clubs. Always in contention for a top 5 finish, but nothing more.
FC Southampton - "the Youth and Development Choice". Known for having an outstanding youth system and good scouting, but always lose their top players to bigger clubs every summer. So don't get attached to the star players, because there's a good chance they're playing somewhere else next year. Still manage to field a very good team every year.
Might write something about other clubs later if I have the time

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has slammed Ashley Young for what he considered a dive to try and win a penalty against CSKA Moscow.
But Keane did not hold back on his criticism of Young, who has developed a reputation for diving since joining United from Aston Villa in 2011. He has twice being booked for simulation, against Crystal Palace in September 2013 and Sunderland in August 2014.
"I think the guy's a disgrace. He's done it [dived] far too many times," Keane said during his role as a pundit on ITV's Champions League coverage. "Look at that [dive] -- absolute disgrace and I just hope players are getting hold of him, whether it be the manager or some of the senior players.
"That shouldn't be accepted at Man United. Absolutely disgraceful.
"You can maybe do it once or twice and make the mistake, but he's done it nine or 10 times and at his previous clubs."
Paul Scholes had already been critical of his former teammate during BT Sport's coverage of the game on Tuesday night.
"Ashley needs to stop doing this," Scholes said. "He knows that himself, but it's just a habit and he can't get rid of it.
"It's so obvious and he just needs to get this out of his game. It is embarrassing and Ashley knows it.
was a dive for sure. Certainly not his "worst" one, not even close ... but still a dive. I doubt they'd have a go at him like that if it was his first aquatic performance, but Young has obviously been a repeat offender here. He really needs to get this crap out of his game, it pisses me off as well and it'll surely reach a point where he'll have clear penalties not given because of his reputation.

I cant comment because I didnt see it, I just find it strange how much the old guys love attacking the new guys. Its practically Keane's part time job.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Alright gents, I have decided to throw my support behind Liverpool this season. My friend is a fan, cheering against Locke sounds like more fun than cheering for him, and Devo's description pushed them over the top.
I'll keep a soft spot for West Ham because I like that they come from a beat up part of town. But if it comes down to it, Liverpool it is.
