That's the position I was in.

Ah well, never hurts to get to know you've got a stud prospects currently playing in pretty much every league out there

Rafikov in the VHL
AOM in the SHL
Smith and Bennett in the OHL
MacDonald in the QMJHL
Klimchuk and Kanzig in the WHL
The Providence boys and Hickey in the NCAA
Granlund, Arnold, Wotherspoon, Culkin, Kulak in the AHL

Only league missing is the ECHL, and that only because Culkin got injured so Kulak was called up.

Thank you for your hard work putting these clips together AC but why does the WHL insist on film their games with what appears to be a flip phone camera?

Smart people. Get the Flames stuff signed while he's available. He's going to be a star.

Even fans of other teams want to be near greatness at some point.

From those clips, Bennett looks like one of those rec league ringers who's playing in the wrong division.

He's almost like a brazilian jui jitsu fighter the way he battles for pucks. Bigger players try to lean on Sam and he responds by shoving the entirety of his weight into their midsection and they quickly topple to the side. The way he does it is similar to martial arts in that it's not an impact but a strategized counter to a larger opponents strength.

You can see multiple times when he should lose puck battles but he gets his body weight into a spot that he can't be moved, I haven't watched much of him yet but I figured he was all guts but apparently he's tenacious and smart.

Yup, he's an NHL player playing in the OHL.

Before Bennett returned Kingston scored 2.71 goals per game.

Since Bennett returned Kingston has scored 4.44 goals per game.

I know saying this might incite some argument, but I just thought I would share my opinion anyway. I don't think Sam Bennett is gonna be the star we all think he will be. Below is a list of my reasoning and research as to why I think he will be an average player in the NHL.

Sorry is this trying to be funny, or just trolling?

So Bennett's small sample size OHL season is suggesting he'd be a 50 point player at the NHL level as an 18 year old if you use the NHLE tables.

Clearly 11 games isn't enough to call that a good stat, but its interesting.

Well NHLE worked for Gaudreau anyway, I don't think 50 pts is that far fetched for Bennett next year.
