I guess we'll just have to represent as best as we can. Unfortunately mine is a little tight these days as I bought mine in my mid 20s when I was a little more...aerodynamic.

On the subject of the retro logo (which I like), when I was growing up, I always thought that it was intended as being geographically representative: the A, l, and b ascender being like mountain peaks in the west, the rest of the b and e rounded like the foothills, and then the r, t and a forming a flatter, prairie-like surface, with the ascender of the t representing the cities. Did anyone else see it that way, or just my imagination?

It definitely looks like the A was stylized to represent the mountains...the rest is probably just a nice coincidence (but you can bet the designer sold it that way!).

Better can the whaaaaaaaaambulance.
It's a freaking licence plate, who cares? If the font of the licence plate is one of the biggest worries in your life, you've got a pretty damn comfortable life. If it isn't, then worry about things that matter.

That's too bad. I had heard that Calgary Flames plates (and Stampeders, etc.) were just about to be announced.

So I should be more like you and worry about the opinions other people express on the internet?
