The fear now is that with 8 out of 12 votes on the table the mafia could lead a surge to get the last votes and end the day.

If we are going to hang CC we should commit without voting the last few so that he can spill anything he knows before he is hung. If he is a player he can help us out with his final words and if he is management then we simply ignore what he has to say and off him. Either way, at that point we should be committed and not very open to saving him.

I have absolutely no idea why I'm off, somehow I've made this reputation for these long story telling posts, but if you look at my post history, if I have something to say, I'll say it. and be to the point.

I also got smurfed for a one post exchange with Flameswin and suddenly its suspicious behavior.

I have this funny feeling that the managers being incredibly smart are stirring the pot like they should and kudos to them, and a combination of desparation after losing two players has the players scrambling because there's clearly an assassin out there doing the devils work.

If I had more time to go back and do the analysis we would come to the probably conclusion that there isn't much of a conclusion because we're in day 2 and nobodies really consistently revealed a strategy and paranoia is high.

We probably won't see solid voting blocks for another day or so, but if you get targeted by one or two groups of voters right now your in a mess because paranoia and self indulgent ego genius where someone thinks that someone is "off" will get you killed by the group.

I mean even with me, do I have proof that whale is management? nope, that's the difficult thing, he feels like he's playing a voting block strategy, he's very good at guarding his words and his personia. He feels dirty, but I couldn't get a warrant to search his house on dirty.

CC seems to be quite content with being voted off. Almost like there is nothing he can do to convince us, and he's just waiting to prove us wrong.

Or he's super good at bluffing.

For some reason, my gut instinct tells me he is actually a player. If I unvote CC, I don't have someone else I'm overly suspicious of and I would be a herd vote.

Hmmmm.

Dead players may make a final post in the thread, but they may not reveal any information relevant to the game. It can be posts likes "damn, told you I was a good guy" or "good luck!" but you can't post something like "I found out this guy is actually the mafia!"

I agree with this approach.

CC has a sense of honour. So if he is sacrificed, he should do what any good soldier would do and look to help him mates.

If the player knows they are "the one", are they able to make a post prior to dying?

I still think I would be more comfortable voting off someone who isn't contributing. As I said, I am unsure about which way CC leans, but at least he is giving us something. Eventually we would have a clearer picture on him, where as somone who isn't posting or posting the bare minimum I don't think we will ever have an idea of their game plan.

Him, activeStick, and someone else didn't have many posts. I threw out 3 names and other people seemed to gravitate towards Drake so I followed suit.

I'm game voting for another inactive player. It's 2nd best to voting out a bad guy and miles better than voting out an active good guy.

I'm not really sure what you're trying to ask. If they're on the verge of being hammered, they can still post as they would normally. If the hammer has dropped, no one can post in the thread as night has started.
