Most of the original teams have gone back retro which is pretty awesome, and yes the Flames should do the same.

My friend, "Mr. Bigs" drew this as a third jersey concept and I just wanted to share with the CP community eh. Yeah, yeah, yeah some people don't get why Flames would wear black. I think this design is class. Pair it up with the current retro reds and throw in whites for away and that is some icethetically pleasing gear.
I also like the graphite design someone shared in the thread.
Hey Kenny...take a look bud. Give the fans what they want. The nasty current jerseys with piping and shoulder patches need to go.

That's a black jersey I could get on board with. But I agree it should only be an alternate with the classics being the normal unis.

I like that. Use Zarley's designs as the home and away with something like that for the 3rd. Black's could look cool if they follow the retro template. I always thought the Blackhawks had a cool 3rd jersey as it was basically just their home and away with colours flipped. I think the Flames would look good in a simple themed black jersey in the same vain as their retros.

Not a black jersey fan but if the team made the right decision and went back full retro, I could handle the black jersey, I think if the C was red with gold outline it would look better.

I haven't really liked any yellow jersey concepts but this one that Cleveland has isn't too bad. With a touch of black perhaps the Flames could have a yellow jersey without looking like mcdonalds? I think the secret with yellow and red is don't have any white, and the red has to be a darker shade.
Opinions?

Probably posted some where in this thread but I think the Flames should do this.
Finally, somebody had the balls to try something like this, IMO, the logo needs a bit of a tweaking along with maybe the color scheme but overall I definitely would buy the jersey.
