Awesome! That's great to hear. I had to leave for work after the 2nd set... He was certainly showing some good composure with the crowd noise while I was watching.

It's on sportsnet.ca! Sela broke back so it's now 5-5. Crowd is really into it.

Pospisil is dead tired. Sela leads 2-1 with the serve in the 5th set.

WOOOO! After 5+ hours!

Pospisil defeats Sela 7-6(4), 6-7(6), 6-1, 6-7(2), 6-3

Canada leads 1-0!

-----

I am very impressed with Vasek's heart. Most players meltdown after losing tiebreaks in the 2nd and 4th sets. Usually it's very demorolizing, especially on the road in Davis Cup. And then he was down a break in the 5th. But he fought back and won!

I would consider not playing Pospisil in doubles tomorrow if Milos takes care of this cheeseball in the 2nd match. Pospisil can't be right after 5 hours.

ugh.. well Raonic looked sick. Ran out of steam and lost in 4.

so it's 1-1 going into the doubles

Nestor/Pospisil def Erlich/Ram 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4

Canada leads 2-1.

It was pretty intense, Pospisil is still not confident in doubles (esp on his service games) but he sure has some guts and Nestor really showed leadership. Nestor was even trash-talking the Israeli captain!

Just one more tomorrow boys!!!!!!!!!

Great weekend so far, Milos looked pretty out of it though and I am a bit concerned about the opening rubber tomorrow. Lot of pressure on Pospisil's shoulders if that happens.

Never seen a stadium like that one before, wonder why it's called Canada stadium. Between the rugby world cup game and davis cup tonight/tomorrow lots of chances to wave the flag.

Sela def. Polansky in straight sets to even the series at 2-2

Pospisil against Weintraub starting now on Sportsnet!

Pospisil up a break early.. 2-0 in the 1st set

-----

Edit: Also Spain def. France 3-1 in the World Group semis
in the other semis Argentina has defeated Serbia 3-1. Djokovic tried to play but had to retire in the 2nd set.

In other World Group Playoffs action:

Russia - Brazil 2-2 (Youzhny just beat Bellucci 14-12 in the 5th set to force a 5th match)
Croatia def. South Africa 3-1
Italy def. Chile 3-0
Japan def. India 3-1
Austria def. Belgium 3-1
Australia - Switzerland 2-2 (suspended due to darkness. Wawvrinka is up 5-3 in the 5th set against Hewitt)

That's going to be a great final. Spain looks unstoppable, but with Del Potro playing better, Argentina could surprise them.

Looks like Pospisil has taken the first 2 sets, 6-2, 7-6. Things looking good so far.

Amazing. Pospisil looked dead in that 2nd set. Cheeseball was serving for the set!

-----

Mango: Spain and Argentina will be fun but with it being played in Spain (most likely Barcelona) can't see Nadal losing at all.

Pospisil has served 24 aces in 2 and a half sets and is hotdogging to the crowd.
This kid really is something!
