Ziltoid is the best! Devin definitely has my weird sense of humor. Great introduction to this style of music for me. Enjoy Ocean Machine as well but I sing to Ziltoid in the shower. Your welcome ladies.

I have everything he has ever done, both DTB and SYL. These four are by far my favorites, and still get lots of playtime in my home:
'Terria' is his earth-bound symphony. An absolute masterpiece in every sense of the word. Probably his most serious non SYL work.
Blast your face off epic space metal from the 24th century! This album cooks at about 2000mph the whole way through!!!
ALIEN! If your S.O. enjoys being tied up and whipped and beaten in the sack, you cannot live without this album. It is so full of pure unadulterated rage. Gene Hooglan's drumming is always incredible, but for this release he really kicked it up a notch. There is a mult-part documentary about the making of this album on YouTube that all metal fans should watch.
Synchestra is probably my favorite DT album. Most especially the first three songs which flow together seamlessly to form what I consider the some of the finest prog-metal ever made. It opens with an acoustic guitar ballad that sounds like irish folk hymns, then by three minutes later you're in this totally massive and triumphant metal city, and you never really notice it change. Where you're going is so completely different from where you came, and so completely different from where you think you're going next, and it all is so natural and suprising at the same time. Only metal album I know that has a Tuba solo in it. Steve Vai also has a guest solo!
Yeah, I'm a huge DT fan.
