Yeah, nothing seems to be changing at this point. Unfortunately I ran out of time to keep trying! I have to bow out.

This is getting stupid. Stores need to start doing lottery systems for these type of products like they do in Japan. It's pretty much a lottery anyways, but then we wouldn't have to sit at the computer refreshing for an hour+ hoping to get one and then getting disappointed.

Still up for preorder, still no way to finish the process. Wonder if anyone has gotten through?

This is probably the most action their site has seen ever.

Site went away for a while, is back, and the pre-order button is greyed out.

Looks like they took it down. I haven't heard of anyone that's got any, so they lost a day's worth of sales trying to do a pre-sale.

I have heard that London Drugs had some up today for pre-order.

Is there a scenario where lining up on release day is possible for this or is it going to be pre orders only?

My wife lines up outside Lulu Lemon every boxing day in -20 weather starting at midnight.. I could enlist her super powers. Getit.

Lining up outside a Walmart or an EBGames should work, I remember people lining up outside Walmart for the NES mini.

I guess Best Buy too but they open later so you have to wait longer.

I've heard shoppers will have them too (citation req?), they will only have a few each store but might be a place not many think to line up at, could likely pull up 1/2 hour before store opening.

Shoppers had NES minis too, but the one near me didn't have them on release day. They got them in randomly a few weeks after, and they weren't able to tell me when they just showed up one day. So might want to check with them in store otherwise might be risky.

Combined with Reggie basically telling people to hold their trigger finger on eBay auctions for the SNES Mini, perhaps they actually will release a ton of the systems, but probably not right on release since I doubt you can ramp up supply that quickly.

Available on GAME UK site for £79.99, but doesn't seem to calculate duty or tax so might get hit with those when it comes.

I guess it's a question of how much people think they'll ramp up production if it's worth it.

http://www.game.co.uk/en/super-ninte...er0-_-SNESMini

It is the European version which looks better than the NA version IMO.

Can't believe a company makes it so hard to buy their products. Do they hate money?

I'm thinking it's the Japanese Yen as it's Amazon Japan
