I dunno man, a smile is a lot to ask for when you have plywood personality disorder.

And yes, you're right that he could very doing things we don't know about, but with the number of admirers he has in the local media you'd think we would catch wind of such acts more often.

It's disgusting either way.
I’m guessing about a year from now, after another disappointing season Spector will start to trash Draisaitl. He will have gotten word from the Oilers that he isn’t going to sign and they have to trade him. He will do as much propaganda as required to soften the fanbase up as Draisaitl is leaving town.

That pic is hilarious...but i feel bad for the couple who are obviously over the moon to meet him and get a picture. How can it not be in your nature to show a little warmth to real fans? Unreal.

Only season ticket holders are real fans in Edmonton.

Nah, there I feel bad for him.

The fact that she's latched onto him with both arms and he is trying to force McDavid to shake his hand is outright creepy.

Guaranteed they ran up to him and did that too as he came out of the airport gate, he had no chance.

Ah just like how they lost in the “closest sweep ever” a couple years ago

The oilers also had to skate uphill both directions in that series against Vegas. Can't forget that.

Let's ignore the fact the Oilers had the third highest cap payroll in the league this season. Also, every team's top-6 is playing hurt by the second round of the playoffs.

Also, Vegas beat them with their 4th or 5th string goalie in net.

Why would players get injured?

Certainly not from an over dependency on the ice time of two players.

No.

Can’t be that.

Best reply: "Are you gonna put that on a banner, too?"

Also, does that Holland video break the thread for anyone else?

The Oilers are the only team to have injured players in their line-up in the playoffs. Vegas certainly didn't have any. Mark Stone always walks around like a 90 year old man when he isn't playing hockey and it is just a coincidence that the Oilers kept cross checking him in the back.

What player injury excuses did the Oiler come out with anyway? Just curious.

Mark Stone is practically playing with a broken back. Didn't seem to slow him down.

My memory may be failing, but I don’t seem to remember the Kings twitter whining about loosing to a $90M Oiler roster….

They truly are the most embarrassing organization in pro sports. Their team, their fans, their media, their GM... just a bunch o' pathetic losers, the whole lot of them.
