I spent the weekend in Mulletville watching my boy play rugby.
We had excellent service at all the place we ate.
I was happy to give a good tip.
It Grinds my Gears I had to go to Mulletville.

The secret to not tipping is called cooking your own damn meal.

Couldn't agree more -- I fought a case on this with couriers some years back and won...got them declared as "employees" and subject to - and beneficiaries of - CPP, EI and the Employment Standards Act of Alberta.
All of these "gig workers" should be no different IMO.

No - but he isn't the one prepping it and doing all the work.

The unfortunate part is that after fighting it in court most gig workers would probably be deemed to be employees, but they would still have to go fight for it first even with an existing ruling.

Since when did the yield sign from northbound 14th to westbound Memorial start getting treated as a merge by motorists? GMG that people don't know the difference.

It was at Foot Field, a dome over a Football field, akin to what they did at Shouldice this year. full field, posts (football) and endzones
The tuff seemed ok, the boys picked up some burns but nothing crazy. They should heal in a couple of days.
Lot of medical support on sight to clean and dress burns and deal with other injuries.

Didn't you know? In Calgary:
= merge, and
= yield

Why TF do I need to create a ‘profile’ to apply for a job for a multinational company.

Except when people are going from Glenmore Westbound to Macleod Trail Northbound, then those are just stop signs.

The bottom ones, sure. But I’ve never heard of it being a common occurrence in Calgary to treat a yield as a merge. I’d actually be curious what behaviour OP is referring to that made them say that. It would have to be someone ignoring the yield and either sideswiping or nearly sideswiping an oncoming car.

Here's one example. https://www.google.com/maps/@50.9948...7i16384!8i8192
You SHOULD slow down for a gap, but no one ever does, they scream through there into people who are trying to change into that lane to get onto glenmore. Nearly an accident every day.

Exactly that, I have seen it twice now in just over a week. I was always in the left hand lane on WB Memorial and almost had to swerve over in case the traffic in the right lane came over as the "yielding" traffic pushed their way in at speed.
