Need a big game from Ric-kuchi today. The Yankees and Rays are still within striking distance and we could use more success from the end of the rotation if we are going to catch them.

With Perez up today, the pen spent from yesterday and a five game division series coming up this was always a punt game. Expect Kikuchi to go 4-5 today for good or bad.

They won the series on the road against a pretty good offensive team. I’ll take that over losing 6/7 last time they were out west.

100%. I’d rather lose this game 20-0 than let the bullpen get utterly ravaged and lose the big games against TB - especially with a double header on Tuesday.
Sorry Yusei…you might be cannon fodder. That or pitch well.

Santi gets the worst calls against him. That was brutal.

Merrifield swings at a ball because the bull#### ump will call anything as a strike. Better be called both ways.

The Rangers hit 15 points better against lefties than righties. Going to be interesting to see how Kikuchi fares here.

If I was a baseball player, I’d develop my ventriloquism skills so that I can heckle the stupid umps without my mouth moving.

When an ump is this bad the MLB should have the ability to call down and replace him with one of the other umps on the field.

You’d think one of the other umps would quietly pull him aside and let him know that he is consistently flubbing strike calls inside to right handed hitters.

He still looks sharp nothing hit overly hard. Rays got lucky being able to manufacture that opening run.
