It is great for marketing to have the biggest names front and center and making things happen. - "Well, if Bettman had his way there wouldn't be any teams in Canada. Look at how he's letting the team in Arizona stay even though they don't like hockey there."...

They were gifted six different top 4 overall draft picks in a span of seven years. The only pick outside the top 4 was a seventh overall pick.

Hell, four of those picks were 1st overall picks! That has to be the most lopsided multi-year gift to a franchise in the history professional sports. What an entitled clown.

Maybe Mcdavid does this kind of stuff and we don't know, but i'd bet dollars to dimes he can't touch Crosby when it comes to behind the scenes generosity and quiet community service to those who need it.
