As a Fallout fan, it looked like a better Fallout (in space)...
Outer Worlds already exists.

Pretty decent show if you ask me. The focus was on games coming out in the next year as they wanted to show more gameplay and get away from the “here’s a cryptic CGI trailer of a game you’ll play in 2026” sort of thing. There’s a huge roster of studios under the Xbox umbrella now so obviously there is a lot in the oven for release beyond that window.
I mean, if Sony did a show centered around the same time frame, would it really have a whole lot more? God of War would be in there I suppose, but there were some cool games shown off today and the fact that so many of them just plop in to Gamepass on day 1 is gravy.
This is key to me. It's bad enough when you are in a theatre and you get this amazing movie preview and they say "Summer 20xx" and you are immediately bummed that you have to wait 6-8 months. The video game industry one-ups that with amazing CGI teasers for games that won't be released for years if they ever get out of developmental hell. I prefer the focus on games that are coming out in the next calendar year.
Its so scummy that after they sell out that link brings up that 3rd party seller.
Edit: Got a bundle, thanks for the heads up. My cost was higher than I thought and then realized I had other things saved in my cart . . lol Lucky I was able to edit the cart after the order
I didn't really pay attention to the shipping date but this isn't coming until at least July 4, so did they really have stock or was this a pre sale of stock? What date did you get Chemgear?

The Walmart order status seems to just be a placeholder. The bundle for CroFlames originally said July 5 for me but has now been shipped and UPS tracking says Friday this week.

Ok, you definitely ordered before me so maybe it will change but as of now.

Yeah, I would expect that it'll come faster than that.
Spoiler!
Every time that I've ordered an Xbox or PS5 from there for other people it has been the same routine, maybe it is an expectation management thing. It's also super obscure where they hold the tracking number. They don't seem to want you to see it directly easily, you need to check the "get help" link in the upper right of your specific order view.
What do you mean by "shallow"? Because I would use that word to describe every Fallout game Bethesda has made.
The combat... eh. I didn't think it was good, but I wasn't offended by it either. It was just outdated, really.

If I have to buy a PS for this game I'm going to lose it. Because I god damn will.

I'm just comparing it to Obisian's previous best effort Fallout New Vegas. Outer Worlds felt like it was on rails compared to that, and having half your weapon inventory simply Mark II versions of the originals was super lazy

yeah... i felt the same way. I was really looking forward to it, as I thought FO:New Vegas was the most enjoyable version of Fallout...
but I couldn't get into Outer Worlds...not sure why, maybe I was hoping for more of the pip boy VATS or something...
I didn't like Outer Worlds as much as I was hoping I would...which is too bad.
I think Forza Motorsports kind of flew under the radar as well. After seeing the below video....it blows GT7 out of the water.
It better. I'm kinda disappointed how they focused so much on how good the scenery looks and glossed over the important details about improvements to the actual racing.
Maple Valley looks gorgeous but I want qualifying, better AI, and a decent ranking/penalty system so I can maybe give online racing a try.
Yeah, I would expect that it'll come faster than that.

Correct you were, Monday now.

This is also what I like about Nintendo Direct, mostly everything (with a few notable exceptions) comes out in the next 12 months.

I was able to scoop one up for a family member. I have now received confirmation that it has shipped. Thank you Chemgear for posting the link. Cheers!
