He gets good roles. He just also chooses to take on very odd roles too.
He's also broke, which could have a lot to do with it. He apparently still owes the IRS large sums.

Yeah Don't Look Up was better than I thought it was going to be, quite liked it.

I think he’s done a lot of good voice over acting work, but I don’t know of any acting jobs after Adaptation that were really great movies (don’t care about box-office numbers for stuff like National Treasure or Ghost Rider).

Your review here got me to watch it last night and you are 100% correct.
Also watched Elves, can't recommend it as it should have just been a 90 minute movie not a 6 episode series.

He did win the academy award for best actor for Leaving Las Vegas.

That was before Adaptation. I just mean his roles since Adaptation have been less impressive.

I feel like people who thought "Dont Look Up" was a bad movie might not realize they're the butt of the joke in it.

I thought it was better than the 1st season, only because the timing is linear this season. Not that the ti.line jumping was bad in S01, it was just a nice change.

I'm bummed that Netflix cancelled the live action Cowboy Beebop. I really enjoyed it even without knowing anything about the anime.
Maybe so.e other network will puck it up but I doubt it.

Agreed. I thought the line from a guard to the bard criticizing his song for a non linear timeline was a funny reference to season 1.
The Witcher is good fantasy with well executed action and Cavill nailing the role. I just wish the season was longer to flesh out the story and characters with more monster of the week episodes.
Don't go searching online for reviews or speculation. Toxic book readers hated it.

I didn't mind the time jumping, it was kinda fun to have to figure out what was going on. Though I'm kinda used to it, it's pretty common to watch an anime series and have no clue what's going on for half a season.

Watched it yesterday. Documentary directed by Ron Howard. Was alright. At least it wasn't dragged out over 6 parts or anything. Not really memorable, but definitely gives you a sense of the 70's in Times Square.

How did it compare to Night Stalker?

It was aimed at the climate-change deniers, but it applies to the COVID crowd, too.

I watched Night Stalker and I don't remember much of it, but from what I recall, I think it was a grade below it. Night Stalker also was longer and I guess had more of an intriguing story given the profile of it and all.

I watched E01 yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I love watching stock footage from New York in that era.

Terminator Dark Fate showed up on my feed.
Terrible craptastic reboot full of plot holes and a sh** premise.
What the hell has gone wrong with that franchise? Could have been done so well.
