Steven Diez had a heck of a run at a Challenger event that ended with a loss in the final to Dusan Lajovic (no shame in that). He propelled himself up 72 ranking spots with his good play this week.
RIP to Nick Bollettieri, you could say he was the creator of the tennis academy as far as the States is concerned, he helped mold the careers of such players as Andre Agassi, Jim Courier, and Jennifer Capriati just to name a few.

He was huge in US player development in the 80's as his academy was regularly spitting out top players and numerous number one players. He was still rocking the trademark sunglasses to the very end.

Aussie Open draws are out for both the men and women. For the women, Bianca, Leylah, and Rebecca are all in the main draw. Felix and Denis are in for the men while Vasek is first alternate as there are several guys using protected rankings. It's very likely that someone will pull out just before the tourney starts giving Vasek direct entry into the main draw.

A doubles team of Milos and Vasek in next year's Davis Cup is going to be deadly
Shapo played quite a bit of doubles with Rohan Bopanna in 2022 and is a pretty good doubles player. I would say Shapo and Vasek would be Canada's best doubles duo although Felix ain't chopped liver. If Milos can regain his prior form, he could be a good singles choice for Canada if Shapo or Felix is not available.
