Yet another wasted opportunity. Feels like this team has had a ton of them this season.

Someone check their transmission because their clutch seems to be broken.

If Vladdy continues “hitting” like this, I’d trade him

Good to see "Back to Bench" Bo is back after two games of finally not being hot garbage.

Wasn't it the Orioles a few weeks ago that the Jays set the season high for 19 ground balls to SS? Looks like they want to challenge that tonight. So much week contact on the ground.
Vladdy's number are plummeting towards his numbers in his first couple of seasons. You start to wonder if last season was an outlier, and, if so, how much of one?

LOL, come on
However, I will say this - as long as Vladdy and Bichette are swinging at garbage pitches, they aren't going anywhere this year. They have to be the 2 best bats in the lineup. Lately, Bo has been, but that K in the 2nd inning was back to waving at everything

too young to be worrying about that and it's perfect timing since it's taking dollars off his next contract that is coming up soon. Same with my harping on Bo. My bigger issue with Bo is trying to force him at SS when he is just clearly not capable.

What is with some of you? A couple years ago, there were people on here calling him a bust. Now, people want to trade him because this season hasn't been as good as last.
Progression is not linear. Players have good and bad years. Vladdy is having an off year, and hasn't figured out the outside slider yet. But he will. He is one of the most talented hitters in baseball. He will win batting titles.
Chill the #### out.

Hahaha Vladdy with a brilliant behind the back throw to Manoah for the out at first.
That will be on highlights for the rest of the year.

Yeah, I'm not worried about Bo's bat going forward, but his throwing from SS is definitely a concern

I'm a few minutes behind but, "that was ####ing sick!" is what it looked like Manoah said about Vladdy's throw

It’s the fact Vladdy hits so many ground balls that have such a negative launch angle. It continues to be a problem.

Merrifield hasn’t made a whit of a difference since joining this team.
Since a decent first couple of games, he hasn’t been a contributor in the slightest. He’s a mediocre fielder and has reverted to the brutal hitter that he was at the beginning of the season.

Lol. This is a rather aggressive response.
I'm a huge Vlad guy. Always has been. Always will be.
I was more throwing out a rhetorical to think about. He posted a 1.000 OPS last season and every other season has been at or below .800OPS. His struggles this year are what plagued him in his first two. Terrible launch angle and inability to lay off outside pitches. So can he figure that out and be a top 3 player in the game. Or is he going to ride the wave of BABIP. Or maybe he will be like Bryce Harper with an absolute banger of a season every 3-4 years surrounded by just above average play.

Yes, and it's frustrating as hell. But it is a this-year problem. It will get corrected. He is WAY too big of a talent to give up on, just from one so-so season.
